These professions and more were represented by the participants of this weeks Mental Health First Aid trainings by Bridge Health Services.   Groups from the University Of Akron School of Law, Akron- Summit County Public Library & Minerva Public Library joined the OVER 1.5 MILLION in the U.S. trained in Mental Health First Aid.  The diversity of this weeks participants highlights the universality of this program.

One participant provided the following feedback:

“I would recommend this course to anyone, whether for professional and /or personal reasons.  This course provides anyone who works with the public with much- needed skills and awareness for dealing with mental health related issues.”  “I would encourage anyone who wants to learn more about active and non- judgemental listening, compassion and humanity and how to incorporate these values and principles into her/ his own life and interactions with others (for whatever reason or interaction) to take this course.”
